Rose of Versailles ~ Lady Oscar
18th century, Versailles...Aristocrats are leading an extravagant lifestyle with no awareness of the misery of the commoners. Far from this cradle of intrigue, Oscar Fran�ois de Jarjeyes, sixth daughter of a prestigious noble family, is born. Her father, General de Jarjeyes, decides to raise her as a man to become his heir and orders Andr� the grandson of Oscar's Nanny, to be her playmate and companion. At the young age of 14, Oscar is appointed the personal guard of the future queen, Marie Antoinette. With the arrival of Hans Axel von Fersen, a young Swedish count, the destinies of these four people cross dramatically as the Revolution approaches...
